This is a sculpture I made for a solo show at the Chases gallery in Belfast, Maine, in 2011.
The wires/roots are made of plastic and metal, and black globes at the ends are security cameras

When I was a child, my dad asked me what I thought God was. I described a figure with thousands of eyes, eyes on tentacles, watching us, keeping us safe. I remember seeing this installation for the first time at Chase’s Daily and saying, “Wow! It’s my reverse God!” I loved it. Thanks, Max.
